Brew Crew, August 25 2006 Leffe Blonde
Description from www.inbev.com:
A dry, fruity, lightly spiced beer, full and creamy - a perfect balance of strength and subtlety. The brand has a delicate and light, malty aroma and a subtle, sweet finish. Leffe Blonde is a perfect accompaniment to light, everyday meals.

The bottle of Leffe Blonde poured perfectly into the Leffe glass that I have obtained from one of my previous pint nights. It had a bit of head which stayed for quite some time. Even several minutes after pouring, bubbles continue rising quickly to the top of the glass. The beer is a darker golden color, that which you would think beer should look like. It has a nice fragrance, but I can't tell exactly what it reminds me of. The taste isn't sharp, but it stays on the taste buds for a while. It definitely tastes spicy and fruity as described by the brewers. I rate this beer as Drunkable. Leffe Blonde is a beer I think I could handle for a night.

Leffe Blonde poured a tall foamy head that didn't go away. I had to give up on waiting it out, and just give myself a foamstache. It was very bubbly and crisp.
The taste lingered, and I couldn't name the familiar fruity flavor for the life of me. Closer to the bottom of the glass I realized the taste was champagne. It wasn't a sweet fruit flavor, but a pleasent bitter grape/apple.
